Because [livejournal.com profile] archway asked and because it's a nice winter recipe.

The First Congregational Church of Tonganoxie Cookbook, 1990.
I LOVE church compilation cookbooks so if you have any you don't use or if you ever hear of a church selling them, let me know, K? I also have one from a sorority that I love...so same goes.

I'm starting to wrap my mind around faire starting in two weeks. I'm also starting to organize my thoughts so that I am prepped to bake for the run.

I've discovered I love to bake and am not bad at it. I love to do it for faire because it means I can take it all out of the house and pass it on to others instead of my hips and butt. If my friends at Canterbury Brassworks would appreciate a fairy basket again this year there is one with your name on it (and if not, my feelings are not hurt).

So--I'm looking for suggestions. I am always looking to try something new and I try to do regular sinful goodness along with sugar free recipes. Finger foods and single serving items are best (can you say "lava cake crack goodness" Susi?).

cut for your consideration )
Your requests are welcome! I get to go buy a new picnic basket to tote it all around! :-)
